If I Could Tell You Two Years From Now

If I Could Tell You Two Years From Now

If I Could Tell You Two Years From Now

If I could sit beside you
two years ahead, a quieter version of myself
I wouldn’t rush to explain everything.

I’d just look at you gently and say:

It’s going to be amazing.

Not perfect.
Not easy.
But full in a way you can’t quite imagine yet.

There will be moments where you doubt everything.
Where the path feels unclear,
where standing still feels safer than moving forward.

Go anyway.

Take the road trip.
Drive further than you planned.
Pull over when the sky feels too big to ignore.
Let the quiet find you.

Go to Europe.
Walk unfamiliar streets with no one but yourself.
Sit at a small café and realize
you don’t need permission to live the life you want.

Do it alone,
not because you have to,
but because you can.

Because somewhere along the way,
you’ll meet yourself again.
Not the version shaped by fear or waiting,
but the one that was always meant to be free.

Stop waiting for things to be perfect.
They won’t be.
And that’s not the point.

Life isn’t something that arrives all at once,
fully formed and ready.

It’s something you step into
uncertain, messy, beautiful.

You are alive.
Right now.
On this wild, breathtaking planet.

Mountains exist.
Oceans breathe.
Wildflowers grow through the burn.

And you are here to witness it.
To feel it.
To live it.

Don’t let life pass you by
while you’re waiting for the right moment.

This is the moment.

Keep going.
Even when it’s hard.
Especially when it’s hard.

Everything you’re hoping for
is quietly unfolding ahead of you.

Trust it.

With love,
Tanya
