The Ones We Can’t Heal
Share
🌿Â
Sometimes, no matter how deeply we care…
no matter how gently we show up…
no matter how much love we offer
some people will not let us love them.
And that truth can feel heavy.
When your heart is open ~ when you move through life noticing the quiet beauty around you, the way the light moves through the trees, the stillness of the mountains ~ you don’t just love halfway. You feel everything.
You try.
You show up again.
You give more.
But sometimes… nothing changes.
And in those moments, nature reminds us of something we often forget:
Not everything is ours to carry.
A wildflower doesn’t force itself to bloom in winter.
A river doesn’t turn back because the path is hard.
And the mountains don’t bend to carry what isn’t theirs.
They simply are.
And maybe we’re meant to learn from that.
There are people in this life who are not ready to heal.
Some who may never choose to.
And as much as we want to reach in and help…
that work is not ours.
What is ours
is how we love,
how we show up,
and how we protect the quiet, sacred energy within us.
I’ve come to understand that my heart was never meant to feel lightly.
It was meant to notice the beauty.
To hold the moments.
To love deeply ~ even when it aches.
And I wouldn’t change that.
Because in that depth, there is meaning.
The kind you feel standing alone in the mountains…
or watching the sky soften at sunset…
or breathing in a moment that reminds you ~ you’re alive.
So if you’re someone who feels deeply…
I hope you find your people.
The ones who meet you there.
The ones who don’t run from depth, but understand it.
And maybe, just maybe
that’s where we find our place in this world.

a simple piece to carry with you wherever you go.
